Description
May be used on either the palmar or dorsal side of either
hand, and on the sides to immobilize the thumb or fifth
metacarpal. Constructed of plush lined, durable perforated
vinyl, along with adjustable double velcro straps. For
use with ½", ¾" or 1" padded aluminum
finger strips (not included with orthosis). Available
in Universal Size. |
Instructions
for Use
1.
Based upon injury being treated, determine proper length and
width of padded aluminum strip to be used.
2.
Insert trimmed end into opening provided at the end of the
orthosis. Product may now be placed on the patient and contoured
to immobilize any digital surface requiring particular treatment.
3.
Secure orthosis to patient’s wrist by means of the looplock
velcro closures. Accessory strap may now be placed in desired
location along the spine of the orthosis and used to comfortably
secure orthosis into position.
